Traveljin

Editorial policy

Our guides should be useful, accurate and honest. This is how we write them and keep them up to date.

Who writes our guides

Guides are written and edited by the Traveljin Editorial Team. We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts; an editor reviews every guide before it is published and decides what goes in it.

Where our facts come from

We rely on official and primary sources wherever we can: national tourism boards, airports and airlines, national weather services, and the official websites of attractions and events.

  • Seasons and weather are based on long-term patterns, not one year's forecast.
  • Event dates that change each year are given as typical ranges, with a note to check the official site.
  • We leave out prices that change daily, and we don't give visa or entry rules for specific passports unless we have checked them with an official source.

Independence

Partners never review, approve or pay for our guides. If we recommend a place or a type of trip, it is because we think it suits the reader, not because of a commission. Read more on our partners and advertising disclosure page.

Updates and corrections

Every guide shows the date it was last updated. We review guides before their main travel season and whenever we learn something has changed.

If you find a mistake, email hello@traveljin.com. We fix confirmed errors promptly and update the date on the guide.
