In the new normal era, hotels are introducing new protocols to ensure the safety of its guests as well as its staff. As most of the countries are unfolding to travel all easing restrictions many hotels are reopening.
However, hotels are introducing new ways of check-in and enhancing cleaning protocols to make the guests feel safer at their property.
The following hotels are following new techniques and protocols for safety.
The App Way
Westgate Resorts is developing an App for its guests. Through this App, the guests can do contactless check-in at its 24 U.S. resorts. Through this App, guests drive to the hotel entrance, where a concierge brings them their room keys and resort information.
Similarly, Highgate has introduced a new program by the name Be Well Stay Well. By this they ensuring that social distancing is followed in all public, events, and back-of-house areas at its all 100 plus properties.
Dallas’ Hotel Crescent Court is cleaning its rooms with the products used in hospitals for cleaning and disinfecting purpose. In addition, it is using electrostatic sanitation devices.
Contactless Room Service
Whereas, Montage Palmetto Bluff is initiating contactless room service delivery. It is located in Bluffton, S.C. However, the hotel has reduced its seating capacity in its restaurants, bars, and lounges. So these areas do not get crowded.
Salon Social Distancing
The Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach is creating the “Salon Social Distancing” program. It is allocating two guestrooms within the property for salon treatments. There will be one room for manicures and the other will be for hair services.
Bowling Green, Fla.’s Streamsong Resort revealed the “Curbside Clubhouse” for curbside pickup of resort merchandise, golf apparel and accessories from the Streamsong Black Clubhouse.
Blue Diamond Resorts is introducing an international safety assurance team. This team will ensure that the guests and staff are safe at its 47 properties in the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico.
Bungalows Key Largo has made it mandatory to check the temperature of its employees before starting their shift.
Trump Hotels properties are providing training at their properties conducted by Ecolab’s Ecosure team. They are providing customized valuations and training in order to maintain high safety standards.
La Coleccion Resort is introducing the “Travel With Confidence program.” This program begins as soon as the guests arrive at the resort.
Similarly, Karisma Hotels & Resorts is introducing the Peace of Mind program. This program gives updates about new health protocols and guidelines for guests.
Iberostar Group is reopening its hotels in Spain, Montenegro, Budapest, Greece, Portugal and Mexico by the end of this month. It is regulating strict health and safety measures. Most importantly, it is also training its staff with its Wave of Change sustainability program.
Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort is reopening for guests on July 1. It has set the safety and hygiene protocols by using the guidelines given by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
