Many hotels in the UK are offering holidaymakers with good packages and perks. These include free room upgrades or complimentary alcohol, as part of a new discount scheme.
The Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) is launching the venture, as the hospitality industry is still struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
The #SleepOvertoHelpTurnover scheme works a bit like the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. In that it’s a ‘two-way’ win; hotels get customers, customers get discounts.
However, unlike Eat Out to Help Out, this venture is not related with the government.
This offer includes perks such as complimentary meals, free nights, complimentary wine or champagne, free room upgrades, free parking, or even half-price cocktails.
Hotels Offering This Scheme
A number of hotels are interested in this offer and have already signed up and unveiled some discounts. Some of the deals on offer so far include:
The Royal Lancaster London is offering free suite upgrades if you book a deluxe room from Thursday to Sunday until the 30th of November 2020.
Cedar Manor in the Lake District will offer a complimentary bottle of Prosecco if you reference #SleepOvertoHelpTurnover when you book. The deal is valid until the 30th of November 2020.
Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa in Warwickshire is offering half-priced cocktails.
The Draycott Hotel by Mantis in London has a number of perks including free upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out. Moreover, complimentary tea, champagne, or hot chocolate.
To claim, holidaymakers will need to reference #SleepOvertoHelpTurnover when booking a stay at the hotel they are going to.
More Hotels to Participate
Currently, there are few hotels across the UK that are offering these discounts. But the scheme expects more to sign up in the coming weeks.
Customers can find more information regarding this scheme and a full list of participating hotels on the HOSPA website.
Moreover, people can find more holiday inspiration on the UK holiday page. There they have mentioned more tempting deals and highlighted some of the top UK hotspots worth having on your list whether you’re after a getaway with the kids, or want a romantic break for two.
Moreover, visitors must check the local lockdowns or restrictions before traveling to a destination.
