This is natural one wants to see the animals closer than ever and learn more about them. There are bird watchers who sometimes give up their homes for months to see the eggs and birds in a particular season.

Thailand & Sri Lanka
If the giant elephants make you go mushy then these super cheap Asian countries are your best bet. There are ethical practices in these countries that we don’t know much about. The sanctuaries here give you the closest experience of feeding these lovable animals. The best part some of the visitors have been able to give a bath to the elephants as well. So show some love to this giant lover in the Asian countries. Although, some parts of these countries do use elephants for load lifting or entertainment. However, slowly the changes are coming.
Pandas are termed as the national treasure by their people. Although many countries have had pandas in zoos and open spaces. But China is the place most famous for these bamboo lovers. Panda cubs were a part of Panda diplomacy by the government of China in the 1970s.
However, a trip to Chengdu will make you smile as that is a Giant Panda base. You can take pictures and cuddle them by paying a fee. This amount goes into the conservation of this extinct animal. Giant Panda National Park and Jiuzhaigou National Park are places to spot these cuddly pandas.
India in the colonial period was a place of major hunting. The kings and the royals were expert hunters. Their fondness and friendship with the British rulers made hunting a more constant experience. However, now with animal rights in place and the fear of animal extinction, hunting is no longer a common practice.
The exotic Bengal Tigers are wild and enchanting at the same time. Bandhavgarh National Park in Eastern India is one great place to be visited by Animal lovers. One gets to see deers, hyenas, and many bright striped tigers.
Ranthambore National Park, situated in Rajasthan is another big spot. It is home to tigers, leopard,s and marsh crocodiles. Visit the place to experience Asian wildlife.
Australia and New Zealand both countries have different kinds of flora and fauna from the rest of the world. Therefore, the kind of animals seen here may not be seen elsewhere. There is the ever so fuzzy Koala or the hopping kangaroo. But Australia deserves a special mention for their animal love and care.
A visit to the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs will show the fun part of observing kangaroos. The fact that it’s an island, the aquatic life is also different and worth watching. You can book a trip to the Great Barrier Reef and explore the supremely unique underwater life of this reef. Snorkel or swim to see the magical world under the water.
Rwanda and Uganda
Gorillas have always been an object of study. Their similarities with the human race led to many types of research as well. But now this breed is quite extinct. As per the stats, only 880 mountain gorillas are left. This means that they should be observed from their natural habitat.
This year Uganda had a reason to be happier. During the Covid pandemic, seven baby gorillas were born. As opposed to an average of two baby births per year. Their conservation efforts are finally bearing fruits. So in Uganda try to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Rwanda is touted to be a great travel destination in 2021. If you are an animal lover do visit Volcanoes National Park and Nyungwe National Park. This country has a series of hills and mountains to keep you in awe of this beautiful country.
