Disney World Bans Eating and Drinking

People planning to visit Walt Disney World in Florida should keep in mind that they are going to experience a lot of changes.

Disney World has reopened with a lot of safety measures. And all the guests must follow them at the theme parks.

Recently, it has updated its rule of eating while walking around. It is not allowing visitors to consume food or drink while walking. To make sure that they keep wearing masks while on the move.

The theme park reopened in July for visitors. It is implementing safety measures that include reducing the capacity of visitors. And is suspending many activities that cause the crowd to gather. It is suspending the parades, fireworks, and other events that draw crowds.

All the guests must wear face masks except for children under the age of two. Even the cast members must wear face masks except when dinning or swimming.

Guests can also remove their face covering while actively eating or drinking. But the rules have changed and they must not be walking while eating and drinking.

The visitors must also maintain appropriate physical distancing by moving to a safe spot six feet from other guests.

Other Measures

Moreover, the visitors must make reservations through the reservation system for park entry. And the visitors and staff will have to go through temperature screenings before entering the parks.

Roaming high-energy squads enforce social distancing. visitors aren’t able to meet and greet the Disney characters. And high-touch experiences such as makeover opportunities and playgrounds remain temporarily unavailable.

Visitors can sanitize their hands frequently as hand-sanitizing stations are available at the theme park. And “relaxation stations” have been installed in every Walt Disney World theme park.

Once inside, guests can safely remove their masks and have a socially-distanced sit-down at the tables provided.

Reservation Pass

As Disney is allowing limited people in its theme parks it has come up with a new reservation system. To manage the limited attendance Disney has announced its Disney Park Pass.

To access the Disney Park Pass, visitors will have to make a My Disney Experience account. On this account, Walt Disney World Resort plans are sorted and managed.

However, if you have a valid theme park ticket or Annual Pass you will have to link it with your My Disney Experience account. Moreover, if you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation, you can link that as well.

Once you have linked your pass with your account, you will be able to see the available reservation dates on the Disney Park Pass site. Visitors who have a multi-day ticket pass will have to make a reservation for each day they will be in the parks. However, friends and family can make a group reservation and they may book together.
