Coronavirus: Canadian Family removed from the flight

Canadian Family kicked out of Air Transat flight, amid Coronavirus fears.

A Canadian family of five were removed from the flight after passengers complained about their feverish, coughing child according to local media. While two different doctors gave the 21-month-old their permission to travel, the airline disagreed and declined to let them fly.

Many airlines have taken tougher steps as coronavirus outbreaks increase. In January, after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided its recommendations to airlines.

Additional steps taken by different carriers include changing the way meals are prepared, issuing crew members wearing masks and gloves in high-risk areas, and disinfecting surfaces after every flight.

According to CTV News, the airline contacted the family and has offered them a refund.
