American Airlines flight attendant dies of coronavirus

Paul Frishkorn, a Philadelphia-based American Airlines flight attendant and union representative, died of coronavirus, the airline reported on Thursday.

“Earlier this week, we lost a respected, longtime member of the American Airlines family, who tested positive for COVID-19. Our hearts go out to Paul’s loved ones, many of whom work for American Airlines.”, American Airlines released statement.

“It is with deep sadness we report that one of our own … has passed away from Covid-19.” 

Frishkorn was twice named as one of the American Flight Service Champions for his dealings with clients.

American Airlines announced on Tuesday that it would introduce additional safety steps and The airlines will provide “limited” food and beverage items to effectively allow a social distance and reduced interactions between flight attendants and customers.
